CLEVELAND VOLUNTEER FIRE DEPARTMENT
Since its official beginning in 1920, the Cleveland Volunteer Fire Department has been a vital part of everyday life in Cleveland. It takes a unique individual to commit themselves to the department because of time spent training, operating and responding. Our members come from all different trades and professions but continually work as a cohesive fire fighting unit to preserve life and property for the residents and businesses of Cleveland.
The Cleveland Municipal Airport is home to the newest Cleveland Volunteer Fire Department Station, which opened in 2011.
